Rt. 1 in Mercer County Closed after Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Car Monday Morning

Authorities have close a northbound portion of US Rt 1 in Lawrence after a female pedestrian was struck and killed by a car while crossing the highway around 6:30 am Monday (10/11/21). Lawrence police said to avoid the area, adding that Route 1 north from Whitehead Road will be shut down until further notice.
