Another Killed By NJ Transit M&E Line

New Jersey Transit Morris & Essex Line train 674 departing Dover 8:26 PM Thursday (2/24) struck and killed a man near the Morristown train station at ~8:45PM, according to NJ Transit.

No injuries were reported on board.

Train service from the M&E line has since resumed. NJ Transit Police are leading an investigation into the death.

The M&E Line of NJ Transit hit a pedestrian earlier this year, as reported by Morristown Minute.

Details on the nature of the incident (many of these pedestrian-train fatalities are suicides) have not been released.
