Free Tree Seedlings Available in Morristown

Free tree seedlings will be available to residents as part of the New Jersey Forest Service’s Tree Recovery Campaign.

Municipalities will be giving away 5 Free Bare Root Tree Seedlings to all residents of New Jersey

Locally, residents can pick up tree seedlings from the following dates and locations:

April 22 9am to 11am Rotary upper pavilion, Gardner Field, 2 Savage Road Denville
April 22 8am to 3pm Public Works, 37 Ironia Road to April 28, Mendham Borough
April 22 9am to 4pm Scherer Pavilion at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum 353 East Hanover Avenue, Morristown located across from the county library
April 22 10am to 2pm Roxbury Recreation (Horseshoe Lake) 73 Eyland Avenue, Succasunna
April 23 10am Rock Sprig Park Gazebo (parking by the senior center), 35 East Springtown Road, Long Valley
April 23 9am to Noon Birchwood Lake Parking lot, 49 West Shore Road, Mountain Lakes
April 23 10am Park Lake, Mt Hope Pond, Egbert Lake clean up day, Rockaway
