"Be Bear Aware!" Information Session - February 9, 2023.
7 PM in the Lundt Room at the Library of the Chathams.
Black bears have been spotted in Chatham recently. Should you worry? Join us on 2/9 to find out!
Black bears are an important part of our natural world, and all NJ residents should know how to react if they encounter one.
This interactive, multimedia presentation, with touchable artifacts, a life-sized bear mount, and fun simulation activity will help participants better understand black bear history, adaptations, life cycle, diet, and needs.
