SMAC Blood Testing for East Hanover & Roseland Residents

The East Hanover Health Department will conduct a SMAC Blood Testing Program for EAST HANOVER and ROSELAND RESIDENTS 18 years or older on Saturday, March 11th from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at the Roseland Borough Hall, 19 Harrison Avenue, Roseland, NJ 07068.

SMAC is a comprehensive blood test that analyzes more than 20 components including total cholesterol, LDL, triglycerides, glucose, and a CBC (Complete Blood Count.).

The Health Department's nursing staff will provide blood pressure screening and health education brochures will also be available.

To participate in the Clinic, you must call (973) 888-6035 Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm for an appointment. For all participants who select the SMAC there is a fee of $22.00, and for those who select the SMAC plus the PSA screening there is a fee of $40.00. In addition to the SMAC test, the PSA (Prostatic Specific Antigen) blood test will also be available for men aged 50 and older, or for those 40 and older that have added risk factors. Those at risk include African American men as well as men with a family history of cancer. The fee for the PSA test alone is $25.00.

Appointments are available on a first come - first served basis.
