“Hidden in Plain Sight” will be held at the Randolph Community Center on April 19, 2023 at 7:30 p.m.

Sponsored by the Randolph Municipal Alliance Committee and presented by the Morris County Prevention is Key organization, the event will highlight how detecting risky behavior in teenagers may be more difficult than parents think. In fact, some of these red flags are visible in a child’s room but not immediately noticeable.

“Hidden in Plain Sight” will offer parents an opportunity to walk through a simulated bedroom and learn about the hazards that are often just that—in plain sight. This program is designed to help parents of teens recognize unfamiliar hazards that are often in plain sight.

A prevention specialist, along with a member of Randolph law enforcement, will guide attendees through the exhibit and explain substance abuse trends, signs, symptoms and culture in an effort to raise awareness about drugs and alcohol and provide resources for parents and community members to help keep youth healthy and drug-free. NARCAN training will also be provided.
