Mark your calendars, food lovers! The much-anticipated 2023 Morristown Restaurant Week returns from Monday, April 24, through Friday, April 28, promising a culinary extravaganza with more than 30 participating businesses.
Presented by the Morristown Partnership, the event is sponsored by Morristown Airport, Morris County Tourism Bureau, and 40North Restaurant Group, a division of the family-owned global restaurant brand Villa Restaurant Group.
Morristown, known for its diverse dining scene, offers a plethora of options to suit every occasion, whether it's a family night out, a romantic date night, or a business dinner.
One returning favorite, south+pine american eatery, has been proudly participating in Morristown Restaurant Week since its opening in 2015. This year, Chef/Owner Leia Gaccione will be offering Prix Fixe lunch and dinner menus, featuring fresh, bright, and locally sourced creations.
Chef/Owner Leia Gaccione of south+pine expressed her excitement, saying, "Morristown Restaurant Week offers diners a great bang for their buck and brings in many new and familiar faces, which brings us so much joy and gratitude." She added, "We look forward to seeing our 'O.G.'s' and connecting with first-timers to show them what south+pine is all about!"
In conjunction with Morristown Restaurant Week, the Morris County Economic Development Alliance and its division, the Morris County Tourism Bureau, are launching the Make It Morris Film Series.
The inaugural event will take place on Tuesday, April 25th, at 6:30 p.m. at the Morristown & Morris Township Library. Attendees can enjoy a one-hour documentary, "Saving the Great Swamp," followed by a panel discussion featuring award-winning director Scott Morris and co-producer Larry Fast.
Advance registration is encouraged, with tickets priced at $15, while tickets purchased at the door will cost $25. Attendees will also receive a $10 Morristown Partnership gift certificate to shop local and enjoy Morristown Restaurant Week.
Craig Schlosser, President of the Morris County Economic Development Alliance and its division, the Morris County Tourism Bureau, shared his enthusiasm, stating, "Our joint effort highlights the outstanding culinary experiences, communities, and vibrant arts landscape which makes Morris County a great place to live and visit. We applaud and thank the Morristown Partnership, Morristown & Morris Township Library, our County, and State Partners who helped to bring this program to life."
During Restaurant Week, no tickets or special passes are required, but reservations are highly recommended.
