Annual Morristown Festival on the Green Northern NJ’s Premier Fall Event 

September 29th ~ 12-5 pm, rain or shine

The Morristown Partnership is thrilled to announce the Morristown Festival on the Green is scheduled for Sunday, September 29th from noon to 5 pm, rain or shine. The event will offer a wide variety of entertainment and activities for all ages including multiple stages with live music, kids place amusements, carnival games, fitness classes and a beer tent. 

In 2024, Valley Bank will return as Presenting Sponsor of the event.

The Main Stage (South and DeHart Streets) will feature the Heart of Gold Band (1 to 5 pm), courtesy of sponsor 40North Restaurants. Washington Street will be home to the always popular Beer Tent (Schuyler Place), courtesy of sponsor Morristown Airport and will be a welcome pitstop for music lovers, football fans and cornhole enthusiasts. A variety of beers and seltzers. Drinks will be on sale for visitors 21 and older. Concert on the Green, located in the center of the historic Morristown Green will feature classical favorites from Stone Soup Symphony Orchestra (noon to 1:30 pm) and MPAC Select Program (2 to 3 pm). Last but not least the Sound Stage (Morris Street and Dumont Place) will feature the TropyBand Orquesta (12:30 to 2 pm) and Shorty Long & The Jersey Horns (3 to 5:00 pm).

For families and the younger crowd, try your luck at the carnival games (North Park Place) and visit Kids Place children’s amusements (Speedwell Avenue) courtesy of sponsors, Oak Knoll School, The Learning Experience and Unity Charter School.

Activities will include an inflatable corn maze, double lane slide, 3-lane obstacle course and more! Within Kids Place look for the Family Jam platform which will offer family friendly entertainers including Dinosaurs Arise (12:30 to 2 pm), Polka Dot! (2:30 to 3:30 pm) and Wallaby Tales (3:45 to 4:45 pm).
