Credit Card Skimming at Morris County Gas Station

Image

Denville police reported that credit card skimming devices were found at several Denville gas stations after an investigation by the NJ Division of Weights and Measures.

The devices collect credit card data to make fraudulent purchases. Police asked that anyone in Denville that used a credit card to purchase gas in the last few months check their receipts and credit card statements. The police failed to mention the gas stations by name.

Police are investigating several reports associated with this particular credit card scam.

Additional victims are asked to contact Denville Police at 973-627-4900 ext. 350, or file a report at police headquarters.
